We're here to help

Financial advice during social distancing

In these unprecedented times

we’re not going anywhere.

From day one Cleverly Planned was set up to be securely operational from anywhere at any time, so there will be absolutely no reduction in service whilst we are unable to attend our office or see you in person. We will remain (virtually) by your side.

Much of our planning conversations culminate in the realisation that our health is the most important thing. Without it, money can be somewhat pointless. However, we understand the emotional aspects of money, the freedom and choices it can give and take away, so it is completely understandable that people may have worries over the security of their financial plans at this difficult time, whilst being concerned for the health of themselves and their loved ones. If you’ve been wondering whether your plans are still on track or unsure whether you should be taking any action, we can work with you to find clarity and peace of mind, so you can focus on staying safe and looking after yourself.

We’ve been in regular contact with our clients throughout recent weeks to be a sounding board for any concerns or disruption in their lives and whilst they remain our priority, we see it as our professional duty to let the wider world know we are still here to provide level-headed advice and expertise through these unprecedented times.

How remote financial advice works

Although we’d love to invite you to our office, that can’t happen until it’s safe to do so. As such, we are ready and able to deliver our service remotely to maintain social distancing. If you telephone, email or send a message using the details below, you’ll speak to Ben Coulson in the first instance, who will find out a bit more about you and make sure we are the right people to help. He’ll then arrange a convenient time for you to have a remote/virtual meeting with our Chartered Financial Planner, Sophie Marfell.

For our meetings, we’ve been making use of Zoom video communications, where we can see each other as though in person and share your planning forecasts and recommendations on the screen. It’s quick and easy to get the hang of and clients tell us that after a while the distance between us is forgotten.

Whilst our meetings typically focus on the good times; how you’d like the future to look and all the wonderful things you’d like to spend your time doing, behind the scenes we use our expertise to limit the damage during times like this. We stress test thoroughly and are always thinking “but what if this happens?” to ensure we create robust strategies that can support the great times while weathering the bad times too. There’s enough to be worrying about at the moment without adding concern over pensions and investments into the mix, so please do contact us via the details below if you think we may be able to help or if you are not receiving the advice you need from elsewhere. We genuinely appreciate being able to provide reassurance during these uncertain times.
